POLICE have begun an investigation after a man was airlifted to hospital following a two-vehicle collision near Hatherleigh on Friday.Officers are appealing for witnesses to the crash between a yellow Vauxhall Astra van and a black Mitsubishi Outlander on the A386 Station Road at Meeth, at around 5.35pm.The 32-year-old male driver of the Astra, from Torrington, sustained serious internal injuries and was airlifted to the North Devon District Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.The...
