WORK to complete a memorial honouring the soldiers of Ilfracombe who lost their lives in the First World War has begun.Volunteers gathered at Pip and Jims Church Hall yesterday alongside renowned artist Kim Sayer to create an extensive mosaic which will sit atop the memorial in Runnymede Gardens. While it is being worked on the mosaic has been split into three, but once complete will read "Ilfracombe Says Thank You' - referencing last year's First World War centenary commemorations.Included...
