POLICE have launched an appeal after a piglet was killed on the A399, with another pig fleeing into a nearby forest. A passing motorist spotted the piglet on the A399 at Aller Cross yesterday and informed police around 12.30pm.A second pig has since fled to a forest close by.It remains unclear whether the pigs broke free from a vehicle or escaped from a local farm, but a police appeal for information has since been launched.A police spokesman said: "It appears a piglet has been found dead...
