SPECTATORS were left in awe after Braunton's skyline was lit up by the village's first official fireworks display.
A total of 1,500 people gathered at Braunton Cricket Club for the sell-out event, which saw residents treated to a host of food and entertainment – including the 10-minute display.
Organised by the Friends of Kingsacre Primary School, the event was the first official display to take place in the area since the end of the annual show at RMB Chivenor.
