A NOTORIOUS paedophile has been living under the noses of Devon residents for three years.
Joseph McColgan, known as one of the worst paedophiles in Britain, was spotted shopping at Argos in Tiverton yesterday, revealed the Journal's sister paper, the Mid-Devon Gazette.
The pensioner, who raped children and tortured them with cattle prods, has been living in the sleepy town of Bampton for the last 36 months.
