A CHICKEN farming consultant has been ordered to pay more than £1,000 after he was caught drink-drinking following Holsworthy carnival.
Robert Hawgood, of Holsworthy Beacon, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen during a hearing at North Devon Magistrates' Court on Friday.
The court heard how the 52-year-old had been pulled over police shortly before midnight on November 22 after officers saw him driving erratically – swerving across the road.
