Aubrey Berriman, who was brought up in Bideford, has provided the group photograph taken in Mitchell's cafe (which later became Friendship's) in Bideford's Market Place, probably some time around 1948. It shows a party of workers from the Bideford & District Electric Supply Company who were based in the High Street.
