A COOKER fire in Bideford had to be dealt with by firefighters this evening.
The fire service was alerted at 6pm to the incident in Hawthorn Park.
Two fire engines from Bideford attended and found a fire involving a cooker.
The damage was very minor with just 5% damage to the kitchen and 20% smoke damage.
The kitchen was ventilated and crews isolated the gas.
