MORE affordable homes can be provided in North Devon as part of new law being debated in parliament, says the district's MP.
Peter Heaton-Jones said he had received the assurance from government following concerns that North Devon might not benefit from the new Housing and Planning Bill.
North Devon Council leader, Des Brailey, asked Mr Heaton-Jones to seek assurance over the issue, leading him to write to the housing minister Brandon Lewis.
