THE dad of a 12-year-old girl hit by a police car has described the terrifying ordeal as "every father's worst nightmare".
Leeta Rossi was on her way to Camborne Science and International Academy at around 8am last Wednesday morning when she was struck by the police car.
Police were attending a violent emergency call in the town.
Trevenson Street, the area where the incident took place, was promptly closed to traffic whilst police launched an investigation.
