AN EIGHT-YEAR-OLD girl helped to warn shoppers about glass which had fallen out of a window in Barnstaple High Street.
Storm and her mother Samantha Cairns were shopping in the town with their friend Ben Ashby when they heard glass smashing in Cross Street.
The Journal previously reported that Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were alerted at 1.15pm with reports of glass falling into the street.
