I WRITE in reply to the article and comments by Tracy Spear with regards to the changes at the North Devon Crematorium (Journal, January 28). I agree that the new vases are impersonal.
I have visited the crematorium six times a year since 1984 to visit the rose bush dedicated to my late parents and leave flowers in the flower room.
On my last visit last November I was sad to see a notice saying all personal vases had been removed to behind the chapel of memory and should be taken home.
