CHILDREN in Fremington can play to their heart's content without fear of running into dog mess thanks to the efforts of councillors.
Following calls from residents that dogs were fouling in and around the Ellerslie Road play area, councillors have taken action to create a safe play zone.
New fencing to surround the play area has been funded through an application to the North Devon Communities Fund.
