IT HAS been confirmed that a Barnstaple play park could be saved if plans to relocate a factor get the go ahead.
The Journal reported in February 2015 that an alternative site might have been found to avoid building a road through the Westacott Meadow play area.
And it has now been confirmed that a land owner would be prepared to let a road be built on his land instead.
