A FATHER has been sent to prison after pouring super-hot chilli sauce on his newborn baby's bottom causing a severe chemical burn.
The 25-year-old said he put a chilli sauce called Hot Diggidy Dog Hot Original Pepper Sauce on his baby's bottom because the child was suffering from constipation and he thought it would help.
The 27-day-old baby suffered such serious burns to his bottom that he required an emergency colostomy and reconstructive surgery.
His father escaped being prosecuted...
