AN "off-the-charts" speeder has been given an instant driving ban after police clocked him driving at 89mph in a 50 limit.
Brian Latham, of Kimberley Park, Bideford, was tagged by a mobile police camera as he powered along the A361 between Barnstaple and Ashford.
The offence took place on the morning of June 11 as he drove his specially adapted vehicle, which allows him to drive using only his hand, to his grandmother's house in Braunton.
