BRAUNTON is among the Devon communities set to benefit from County Council funding as part of its £1.3 million plan to tackle flood risk in the region - and drilling got started in the village this week.
The council's flood risk management action plan should benefit more than 250 properties this financial year in its bid to tackle "a range of flood problems" affecting Devon's communities.
