There were plenty of candidates for the Barnstaple supporters' player of the season award but, in the end, Winston James was the obvious choice.
The skipper and openside flanker has played some of his best rugby this term and his two tries against Old Patesians took him to 21 for the campaign – a National Three South West record for Barnstaple.
