A PENSIONER took his own life just over a year after the death of his beloved wife, an inquest has been told.
Terrence Ford, 81, was discovered by police at his home in Braunton on January 15 after taking a mixture of drugs.
Although he was admitted to North Devon District Hospital where he told doctors he had taken the drugs on purpose, he died just hours later.
