WHILE dozens of events are set to take place across North Devon to mark the Queen's 90th birthday, one gardener has taken things a step further by creating a rather unusual tribute.
Alex Davis has helped to transform the lawn at RHS Garden Rosemoor into a giant crown ahead of the Queen's official birthday on June 12.
The lawns in the Arboretum with remain emblazed with the crown until the end of June, giving as many visitors as possible the chance to view the tribute.
