Work has commenced this week at an important development site in Barnstaple.
North Devon Homes have announced work has begun on the housing and commercial areas of the site at Anchorwood Bank.
Initially the focus will be on creating the necessary infrastructure, with building new housing at one end of the site to start in June 2017.
When complete, the site will provide 172 new homes and six retail units, including Next, DFS, Chiquito and Frankie and Benny's.
