A MAN has appeared in court accused of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent. Sean Stephen Gammon, 26, of Rhode Lane, Bridgwater, Somerset, appeared before North Devon Magistrates' Court on Friday. It was alleged the offence took place in April in Ilfracombe.The indictable charge means that it can only be dealt with at Crown Court.Gammon will now appear at Exeter Crown Court on October 21 for his next hearing.
