Around 47 homes were left without power late last night and early this morning in Ilfracombe.According to Western Power Distribution an "underground cable fault" left around 16 homes in the Princess Avenue area without power at around 11.30pm yesterday.Workmen were quickly sent to the scene and had to dig up the road using pneumatic drills to fix the problem.Angry residents took to Facebook last night after loud drilling woke them up.In the end 47 homes had to be switched off in order...
