The owner of the Woolacombe Beach holiday park, Graeme Toms, has to appear at Crown Court after appearing before North Devon Magistrates' Court on Friday morning charged with a failure to comply with fire safety regulations.
The prosecution told the Magistrates on Friday that a boy and his father had to kick their way out of a locked exit door after a fire broke out in the swimming pool area of the holiday park earlier this year.
