A Barnstaple man has appeared in court accused of assault.
Mark Anthony Angell, 41, of Otter Way, Barnstaple, appeared at North Devon Magistrates' Court on Friday, November 11.
He pleaded not guilty to one charge of assaulting one woman by beating and a second charge of assaulting another woman by beating.
