NEIL Pauffley knocked out the No 1 seed and beat a Wimbledon champion on the way to his fifth ITF Futures title at the Aegon GB Pro-Series Barnstaple.
Pauffley, 26, came from a set down to beat top seed Tallon Griekspoor, of the Netherlands, 5-7, 6-2, 6-4 in the semi-finals at the Tarka Tennis Centre.Singles champion Neil Pauffley
Then, in Sunday's final, he overcame Denmark's Frederik Nielsen, the second seed and 2012 Wimbledon men's doubles champion, 6-4, 6-4.
