South Molton's Christmas lights switch-on event prevailed despite wind, rain and hail, with hundreds of residents turning out to celebrate.
Councillor Stephen Lock, mayor of South Molton, opened proceedings by thanking Paul Henderson from Print Workx, South Molton Town Council staff, electrician Rob Baker and his team for sorting out the Christmas lights, and all the local businesses who allow the use of their electricity for the lights.
