A WOMAN in her 20's who was found in the River Torridge this morning had tried to take her own life, police have confirmed.Police were made aware there was a young woman in the water, near to Queen's Street, Bideford, at 2.15am.When officers arrived, they said the woman, believed to be in her mid-20's, was 40ft below in the water and covered in mud.She was able to talk to paramedics but it was believed she had suffered serious injuries and other emergency services were called.This was a...
