James Cheshire, 30, of no fixed abode, appeared in front of North Devon magistrates last Friday charged with common assault.

Thomas O'Leary, of Meadow Close in Ilfracombe, appeared in front of North Devon magistrates last Friday.
He indicated no plea to a charge of unlawfully and maliciously wounding Jake Semple with intent to do him grievous bodily harm on December 23, 2015 in Barnstaple.

A 41-YEAR-OLD has pleaded not guilty to common assault, but guilty to a second charge of assault by beating.
Neil Vickery, 41, of Orchard Road in Barnstaple, appeared at North Devon Magistrates' Court on Friday charged with assaulting a woman by beating on October 2, 2015, to which he pleaded guilty.
He pleaded not guilty to a charge of common assault which is alleged to have taken place in Barnstaple on February 6, 2016.
