A MAN handed himself into the police when he assaulted someone after he had been drinking, a court has heard.Louis Dainty, 27, of Park Villas, Braunton, appeared before North Devon Magistrates' Court on Friday. He pleaded guilty to an assault charge. The court heard that the incident occurred in Barnstaple in August.
