A 10 year old Exeter girl had to be rescued last night after becoming trapped in her bedroom.Luckily she didn't have to wait long because the she lived in the same road as where the firefighters who rescued her are based.A call for their assistance was made around 8.50pm on Friday. A fire appliance from Danes Castle went to the girl's home in Howell Road after being told she got herself stuck in her bedroom.Crews forced open her door using an enforcer and were able to release the girl.Read next:...

A person was rescued by coastguard crews after being stuck on cliffs in Paignton on Friday night.
Torbay Coastguard crews took a break from one of their weekly catch-ups as the team were paged by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency to a person stuck on the cliff at Roundham Gardens, Paignton, at 8.21pm on Friday.
When the crews arrived, they found that the casualty had been pulled back to the top of the cliff.
