THE trial of a police custody sergeant and two detentions officers officers accused of killing a schizophrenic church caretaker who collapsed in police custody moved forward this week as a jury was sworn in.
Detention officers Simon Tansley, 38, and Michael Marsdon, 55, will be in the dock with Sergeant Jan Kingshott, 44, at the trial at Bristol Crown Court.
