PLANS for a multi-million pound pedestrian bridge over the A39 in Barnstaple have been submitted by Devon County Council – to Devon County Council.
The Journal reported on November 5 that plans for the £2.6 million bridge had been described as a "luxurious" use of money.
It is planned to link housing and employment land on either side of the busy road, as Roundswell has been earmarked for future development and expansion.
