A SHOPLIFTER stole DVDs from Tesco in Barnstaple, a court has heard. David Andrew Waring, 34, of St Georges Road, Barnstaple, appeared before North Devon Magistrates' Court on Friday. He pleaded guilty to theft from a shop. The court heard that the offence took place on August 17 when he stole three DVDs from a Tesco store in Barnstaple.
